Parliamentarians participate in Ribbon Pinning heralding 16 Days of Activism to End Violence Against Women campaign

NASSAU, The Bahamas -- The Bahamas joins countries around the world in observing the 16 Days of Activism to End Violence Against Women campaign, which begins November 25 and ends on December10, Human Rights Day.  The Department of Gender and Family Affairs of the Ministry of Social Services Urban Development led a ribbon pinning exercise to commemorate the initiative was conducted at the House of Assembly, November 23, 2022 when there was a joint sitting of the House and Senate.
