Frederick Perpall of Nassau, Bahamas to become the next president of the United States Golf Association

Bahamian Fred Perpall has been elected as the next president of the USGA (United States Golf Association). His 3 year term will begin in 20223. He currently serves as the chair of the USGA's Champion's Committee.

He is 47 years old and was born and raised in Chippingham. He went to St. John's before leaving for college in the US where he became an architect. He eventually became the CEO of of one of the largest architectural firms in the US, The Beck Group.

It's impressive and inspiring to see Bahamians performing at such an exceptional level on the world stage.
