There's nothing like having first hand experience so last year we dove right in... We put up a grid tied solar panel system with battery backup. A few months later we got an electric car. We went with the BYD Song Pro. We found it to be big enough for making deliveries for the business yet rides extremely smooth and comfortable for making the school runs.
Having experienced living with Solar Power and an EV for the past year, I would strongly recommend other Bahamians to make the transition when you can.
