What if everyone in the Bahamas drove an EV and charged it with solar panels?
- over 200,000 registered cars
- avg. person spends $40/week on gas
- that is 200,000 cars x $40/wk x 52 weeks
- $416 million spent on gas per year

How different would our quality of life be with $400 million per year staying in the country??? Salaries, benefits, healthcare, education....

I would love to see the various Unions buy Solar panels in bulk to get wholesale pricing then offer low interest rate loans to its members to put these on their homes... The biggest barrier for most people is the upfront cost but we can mitigate this by using our collective buying power...
