Grand Bahama Power's electricity rate hike goes into effect today.... Rates in GB have now gone up by 3.3 percent... This rate hike was approved by the Port Authority long before the war in Ukraine started, so that's not what caused it. GBP's Director of Customer Operations, Nikita Mullings (pictured above) stated that they have a responsibility to their shareholders to make a 'profit', hence the rate increase. Don't feel left out Nassau, BPL has something in store for us too... — Feeling Shocked
